Trinitas Zinfandel El Dorado 2015

This Zinfandel is pleasing on the eye with a deep ruby core color and a hints of purple on the edges. The nose starts out with a distinct smell of chocolate covered maraschino cherries, which leads into notes of strawberry preserves, vanilla extract, and caramel. The cherry from the nose translates to the broad palate and exhibits a beautiful and rich note of cherries jubilee.

This wine exhibits a solid and wide core on the palate that continues through the lingering finish. The finish on this Zinfandel is classic yet complex, exhibiting classic briar, a hint of tobacco, and a pinch of delicious chocolate mocha.
