A very big style for this wine, with dense and rich fruit, powerful wood and tannins and a flavorful finish. Needs time to mellow, but those who like big wines will enjoy it. Better after 2024.

It is concentrated, it is intense and it is amazingly deep in very pure, curranty fruit, yet it comes with a rare sense of refinement and grace for a wine of its richness and weight, and, if its manifold attractions cannot be ignored, know that it is a very long way from approaching its peak.
