This wine is a lively yellow of mid-range intensity and it appears crystalline in the glass. It’s perfumes are clear-cut and well-defined. You’ll discover meadow flowers, jasmine and pear. To the mouth, it’s compact and vibrant, approachable and pleasant. This wine boasts good structure and persistence and it gives off an agreeable mineral taste that adds flavor at the finish.

Often served in Friuli as an aperitif, this wine is a magnificent match for typical cold-cuts from the region, especially San Daniele prosciutto. It pleasantly accompanies fresh, fatty cheeses, omelets with herbs, flavorful risotto dishes and fish-based specialties. It’s traditionally matched with eggs and asparagus.
