Torre Fornello Rosso Emilia Nero Lucido 2011 |
he "Lucido Nero" by Torre Fornello is a Emilian Pinot Noir with a structured and profound personality, the merit of the long aging of 18 months in barriques. Emana senses cherries, red fruits and wild spices. The sip is intense, full bodied and round, supported by a balanced freshness.
Nero Lucido, born from Pinot Nero grapes in purity, is the wine with which Torre Fornello has decided to show how the identity and personality of a wine are strongly influenced by the geological and climatic characteristics of the territory where it is produced but also from the will of the producer.
Torre di Fornello is an absolutely atypical, very dense, creamy and succulent Pinot Noir born from vines planted in 1981 on a plot rich in potassium, magnesium and limestone; a soil rich in nutrients to transfer to the plant, a rich soil of that personality that we find in the chalice.
It is born from a biological philosophy and from an aging of 18 months in French oak barrels of first and second passage; an evolution that gives the Nero Lucido di Torre Fornello its typical garnet reflexes and its complex scent where alternately marvelously fruity cherry flavors alternate with spices, then close on a silky and velvety tannic texture. Complex, varied, round, full, fresh and persistent: the Nero Lucido di Torre Fornello is a discovery that is worth a try ...
