Tolosa Pinot Noir '1772' 2014

Deep red cherry color that welcomes the senses with aromas of black cherry, black raspberry with notes of allspice, anise and hints of cedar. Inviting layers of dried red cherry, black plum, rhubarb, black cherry and dried mushroom on the palate that features rich mouthfeel combined with a refined tannin structure and balanced acidity that linger on the finish long after the first taste. Try pairing this wine with a wide variety of savory foods for years to come.

The blend of four different clones of Pinot Noir from five separate blocks of our Edna Ranch combine to create a refined and balanced Pinot Noir. Each year the blend for this wine changes based upon the wines that when combined result in a wine with exceptional character. This wine was aged for 11 months in French oak barrels with approximately 40% of them being new.
