DESCRIPTION
The taste is very sweet on honeys and sugars with spices (peppers, ginger) that join in later followed by mocha, roasted nuts and appropriate wooden notes, finally. Water releases more aromas in the nose and flavours on the palate and turns the whole dram smoother. The nose offers a balanced profile of fruity, honeyed, beeswax-y and summer flowery aromas in a delicate mix without any off-note.
The whisky arrives warming and a little hot (58.9% abv) in the mouth with no distracting moments whatsoever. The finish is rather long on sweets, spices and mocha again with a minor bitter ending (tannins).
