The Tenuta di Trinoro 2022 Palazzi delivers a big pleasure factor—in the best Merlot tradition—with a molten combination of sweet cherry and spice. The tannins are soft, and this full-bodied Tuscan red is textured and rich. The high alcohol content measures 15.5%, but that heat is hidden well within.
Wine Spectator Enticing aromas and flavors of black currant, blackberry, cedar, iron and tobacco mark this supple, complex red. There’s plenty of depth, with a solid structure amplified by bright acidity. Shows fine balance and length overall, with a long, kaleidoscopic aftertaste. Merlot.
