Taub Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Morisoli Borges Vineyard 2015 |
Deep, black, garnet-purple in color. Displays beautiful layers of dense, concentrated, dark fruit, with a powerful, voluminous mouthfeel underscored by dusty tannins and well-integrated toasted oak. The voluptuous mouthfeel and polished structure build in intensity to an exceedingly long finish, accentuated by the mouth-coating tannins.
Pure black cherry, plum, and black currant combine with subtle sweet notes of vanilla, crème de cassis, licorice and cocoa powder, intertwined with more complex hints of graphite, crushed slate, candied nuts, and roasted coffee beans.
This tiny production highlights a stellar site, showing the appellation's signature earthy tone. Leather, tobacco and black fruit form a taut and lengthy palate, ending on strong accents of dried herb and clove.
