The 2016 Yarden Syrah Bar’on Vineyard presents aromatic notes of ripe black fruits, along with attractive scents of earth, smoked meat and hints of anise. With full body and some chewy tannin, this single-vineyard Syrah is rich, complex and flavorful.
Though pleasing to drink upon release, the 2016 Yarden Syrah Bar’on Vineyard will improve in the bottle for a number of years, and remain in excellent drinking condition for a decade and beyond from harvest. Great to serve at special occasions, the wine goes wonderfully with rich oxtail stew, roast saddle of lamb, or red wine-braised root vegetables.
