Swartland White Wine 'Saskia', Miles Mossop 2016

This is a rich and complex Cape White blend comprised of 68% Chenin blanc, 15% Viognier, 9% Verdelho and 8% Clairette Blanche and matured in oak for up to 10 months. Notes of white peach, quince and hints of jasmine floral perfumed aromas on the nose.

The entry on the palate bursts with citrus and white peach flavours leading to a textured and rich mid-palate. There is immense complexity in this wine with a sense of elegance and freshness, concluding on a wonderfully moreish, saline finish.
