Lots of grape, black cherry and prune fruit, with molasses and toast notes. Made with 100% organic grapes. Serve with big flavors of stew, beer steak or lamb.
This wine has a rich dark colour with a smoky and peppery nose. Dark fruit on the pallet, gives the wine a all-round juiciness. Oaky tannins give the wine a spicy finish with good structure. Enjoy with peppercorn steak, herb or black pepper crusted cheese.
There's a medicinal cherry tone upfront on the nose of this wine, but it's partnered with notes of spiced plum and blackberry. The palate is medium in weight, yet fairly direct and easy drinking, with soft tannins and brambly boysenberry, blackberry and mulberry flavors and a hit of sweet baking spice on the close.
