DESCRIPTION

The intense yellow color of this wine hints at what’s to come - pronounced notes of white florals, stone fruit, and nutmeg with hints of cloves, white pepper and tropical fruit which are wrapped around a core of bright acidity.Grapes from superior vineyard parcels in Appiano Monte were fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged sur lie for several months.

It is the most loved by the Italians and the local white variety of South Tyrol. The seductive Gewürztraminer is certainly one of the most exciting varieties in the world wine-growing landscape. The Gewürztraminer Sanct Valentin is characterized by its intense and complex bouquet, full of aromas that refer to oriental spices, delicate pink canines and exotic fruits. Since 1986 it has been counted as the leading wine of the Sanct Valentin line. It is also distinguished by its reliability and guarantees even after many years an enchanting drink.

Matching tips

It combines beautifully with spicy dishes, goose liver, herb cheese, as well as recipes spiced with spices or kitchen herbs, sea-food risotto or South Tyrolean specialties such as ravioli at "Kloazn" (flour pears) with gray cheese.
