Sledgehammer Zinfandel 2015

Raise the glass to your nose and it's like taking in a basket of fresh raspberries. There's definite fruit in this zin, but it never gets jammy with a lovely balanced finish and a bit of smoke to get you over the sweetness.

TASTING NOTES
The Sledgehammer Zinfandel offers vivid aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, black cherry, and a good dose of black pepper. Dark fruit flavors of dried cherry and current, highlighted by tobacco notes, dominate the palate. The wine is balanced by soft tannins and added vanilla highlights from the influence of aging in oak.
