• Limited edition, annually released single malt Japanese whisky from Mars Komagatake Distillery (fka Mars Shinshu) in Nagano, Japan • 2024 release of Komagatake Single Malt • 100% unpeated malted barley twice distilled in copper pot stills • Aged a minimum four years primarily in ex-bourbon barrels with some ex-sherry and unspecified wine casks; non-age statement • Aromas of bright apricot, banana, and orange zest lead to a palate of rich maple syrup, hazelnut, and persimmon jam with a touch of sherry on the finish • Allergen advisory: May contain gluten • Non-chill filtered; 50% ABV Composed of four separate single malts aged at least four years at Mars’s Komagatake Distillery in the heart of the Japanese Alps, the 2024 edition of Komagatake Single Malt elegantly expresses the distillery’s signature fruity style, notably without the hint of peat seen in previous releases.
