• Limited edition single malt whisky produced by Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel • 100% malted barley double distilled in copper pot stills • Aged in a combination of pomegranate wine, ex-bourbon, and red wine STR (shaved, toasted, re-charred) casks; non-age statement • Fresh red fruit with lemon zest, walnuts, and lavender on the nose precede a palate of rich pomegranate jam, baked pastry, and dry chili pepper with baked apple, ground clove, and a hint of toasted oak on the finish • Star-K Kosher Certified • Only 3,678 bottles produced • Non-chill filtered; 46% ABV Each expression in Milk & Honey’s Elements series sees the distillery’s flagship Classic Single Malt Whisky complemented with malt matured in specialty casks. This limited release incorporates pomegranate wine casks and was blended and bottled for Rosh Hashana and the High Holidays in which pomegranate is a staple of the ceremonies.
