• Peated Speyside single malt Scotch whisky produced by The GlenAllachie Distillery in Aberlour • 100% malted barley peated with mainland peat from St. Fergus, one mile from the North Sea coast (final spirit ppm of 35) • 160-hour fermentation in stainless steel washbacks • Twice distilled in copper pot stills • Aged a total of 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons • Aromas of drip coffee, dried cherries, and praline pecans lead to a palate of candied bacon, chocolate ganache and dark cocoa, and a touch of iodine on the finish • No added coloring • Non-chill filtered; 48% ABV Sumptuous yet moreish on the palate, The Sherry One strikes the perfect balance of peat and confection for anyone that prefers a kiss of sherry in their single malt.
