Produced from 100% malted barley grown on the Lochlea farm
Twice distilled on bespoke Forsyths copper pot stills
Aged in 200-liter ex-Islay casks; non-age statement
Aromas of fresh green apple and signature Lochlea cereal lead to a palate of succulent fruit and fresh hay with a finish of sea salt and lingering peaty embers
No added coloring
Non-chill filtered; 46% ABV Each year Lochlea releases four limited edition, seasonal single malts to reflect the farming calendar. The second edition, or “second crop” of Lochlea's annual Ploughing release represents the farm in winter, when the soil is ploughed in preparation for the year ahead
