• Single malt Scotch whisky produced by Isle of Rassay [raah-see] Distillery in Raasay, Scotland • Blend of peated and unpeated malt produced from Concerto and Laureate barley • Peated malt peated to 48–52 ppm • Double distilled in Frilli copper pot stills • Primarily matured in first-fill rye whiskey casks with a secondary maturation in a combination of ex–Oloroso and ex–Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter casks; non-age statement • Tasting notes include peppery spice, roasted nuts, sweet fruit, and vanilla • Only 1,500 bottles available in the US • No added coloring • Non-chill filtered; 52% ABV Joining the flagship Hebridean single malt in Isle of Raasay’s core range, Dùn Cana is double matured first in ex–rye whiskey casks from Woodford Reserve and then transferred to either ex–Oloroso or ex–Pedro Ximenez sherry quarter casks for further aging before the two double-matured whiskies are blended in equal parts.
