• Single cask aged rum distilled by Travellers Liquors Distillery in Belmopan, Belize, and sourced by Holmes Cay • Distilled from 100% molasses in a manually operated column still • Tropically aged 16 years in an ex-bourbon cask • Caramel, vanilla, and plum on the nose transition to a robust palate of toffee, cacao, and orange peel with a medium-long finish of allspice, stone fruit, and oak • No sugar, coloring, or other additives • Non-chill filtered; bottled at a full proof of 61% ABV Bordered by Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea, Belize may be more well known for its lush jungles, Mayan ruins, and coral reefs than its rum, but take heed—the small-but-mighty country produces some of the finest rums in the Caribbean. Holmes Cay notably offers the only independently bottled single cask rum from Travellers Liquors Distillery that is 100% tropically aged and bottled in Belize at its original barrel entry proof.
