Shinobu Distillery Pure Malt Whisky 15 Year Mizunura Oak

The Shinobu Pure Malt Whisky is produced in Niigata. Niigata is a large city at the mouth of the Shinano River and one of the largest port cities in Japan. This whisky matures for 15 years in former sherry and Bourbon casks.

Deep wood aroma, maltose, nectar, blueberry, Mizunara oak, milk coffee. Oily, ripe fruit, lemon peel, leather, cinnamon, ginger. Finished with a hint of sweet malt with aromas of wooden barrels and a touch of fruity flavor. The sweet aftertaste is outstanding; barrel brings out different levels of spice flavors.
