Sheldrake Point Riesling Dry 2020 |
This dry Riesling comes from the second home to the Riesling grape - the Finger Lakes in New York. The grapes used for this wine are all estate-grown, hand harvested and gently pressed. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks until dry and then racked, filtered and bottled keeping the crisp fresh flavors. The wine exhibits notes of apricot, tangerines, peach and pear flavors while also having a silky feel in the mouth and enough acid to keep the drinker wanting more.
An exceptionally warm vintage produced notes of ripe white peach, tangerine, and jasmine on the nose. The palate features candied lemons and hints of slate carried by acidity through the finish. The wine can be paired with salad or salmon, and everything in between.
