Shafer's TD-9 is a polished Napa Valley red blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting roles from Merlot and Malbec. Named after the tractor model John Shafer used when he first planted the estate vineyards, TD-9 pays tribute to the winery's agricultural roots.The wine is sourced from select sites across Napa Valley, including cooler foothill vineyards and sun-drenched valley floor parcels, giving a balance of structure and ripe fruit. Aged in French oak, TD-9 shows blackberry, plum, dark cherry, cocoa, and warm spice.
