This delicate, moderately light-bodied Riesling has a tasteful, Granny Smith apple characteristic that is crisp and lively on the palate. Serve chilled. Enjoy by itself, with mild cheeses, salads, shellfish and poultry. Over 200 years ago the Schmitt ancestors settled in the small village of Longuich, located along the Mosel River in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region, and began managing vineyards and producing wine. Now in the fourth generation, Schmitt Sohne is one of Germany's largest and most successful wine exporters to wine drinkers all over the world.
