Deep, almost solid ruby red. On the nose, the 2014 vintage shows intense fruity notes of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, myrtle, leather and liquorice. On the palate, the wine is big and velvety, with a great structure and a long aromatic finish, a full-bodied wine.
It matches red meats, wild boar, roast suckling pig and mature Pecorino cheese.
