The 2018 Chianti Classico is a gorgeous, mid-weight wine that captures the essence of the estate's high-altitude vineyards. This deep red is beautifully balanced with hints of tobacco and cedar. A very approachable and fruity red with a medium body.
The grapes achieved the best balance between complexity of aromas, power and richness. ... But the warm and sunny September and October helped the grapes to ripen well.
