DESCRIPTION
Dark ruby. Aromas of black cherry, violet, pepper and licorice. Tightly coiled but not at all hard, showing a sappy core of savory dark berry and sweet spice flavors. The long finish shows an almost chocolatey ripeness and a firm quality that begs for patience.Tradition is the inspiring muse that has led us to isolate and process separetely the grapes from the Montetinello vineyard. The great concentration and consistency of this wine are due to the dominating percentage of Montepulciano, compared to Sangiovese, and to the favourable position of the 30-year-old vineyard only a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast.
