La Sensonne matches very well with intense aromas and smartness. The ripeness of the fruit, the spiciness and the oak are well accepted by this dense material.
The 2022 packs an oaky punch. This is hardly surprising, given that it matured in 100% new French 228-liter oak. Pronounced wood smoke and cedar mingle with licorice, fruitcake, black cherry compote and ripe blackberry.
