Saint-Estephe de Calon-Segur Saint-Estephe 2015

This is a very serious wine when you consider that it’s the château’s third tier wine. Dark and closed but heaps of aromatic depth, very undifferentiated at this stage but with a vigorously tannic palate that will give it a couple of decades at least in front of it in the cellar to resolve all its youthful complexity.

Very leather, oaky, smoke, tobacco, earthy style, round and smooth, served under wonderful conditions, low tannins and acids, easy drinking Bordeaux
