• Limited edition straight rye whiskey produced by Pinhook Whiskey • 2024 release; fifth of thirteen limited annual releases of Pinhook Whiskey’s Vertical Series Rye • Distilled at MGP in Indiana; aged, blended, and bottled in Frankfort, Kentucky, by Pinhook Master Blender, Sean Josephs • Mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley • Aged 8 years • Vatting of 32 barrels • A bright nose of orange zest, green apple, caramel, and cinnamon precedes a rich palate of licorice, burnt sugar, cedar, and clove • Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 54% ABV Pinhook’s Rye Vertical Series provides a unique opportunity to follow a group of 450 MGP Indiana rye barrels as they age from four to sixteen years and to experience that evolution of flavor—all curated with the attention to profile and proof that distinguish the Pinhook ethos.
