Still slightly funky from long lees contact. This is an extremely attractive gruner veltliner that’s simultaneously creamy and minerally with plenty of lemon-zest freshness and a long, silky finish. Drink or hold.
A very special wine from Grüner Veltliner, with lots of green pepper, lime, iris, very slight notes of honey. At the palate oily with superb saltiness and very fresh acidity. Full bodied, smooth and completely balanced with a mineral acidity and lots of juicy stonefruit & roasted almond.
