This full-bodied blend is defined by ripe cherry and plum aromas accented by spicy notes. Fresh, sweet tannins are perfectly balanced by vibrant acidity. The engaging finish is enhanced by mild toasted notes from 6 months of aging in 20% French oak and 80% in stainless steel, after fermenting in stainless steel.
Medium dark ruby with ruby edges. Clear. Nose: Round and ripe red/black fruit medley, with big toast, almost unctuous, tho. Palate: Full and very round, with soft tannin, this is a fruit forward blend with a mix of dark cherry, raspberry, blackberry fruit. Slightly bitter in the finish, but still juicy acidity. Same big toast from the nose, and a nice black pepper note comes out with air.
