On the nose, Ruca Malen Malbec Reserve shows red and black fruit reminiscent of cherries and plums and violet aromas. It is a complex, elegant wine, layered with concentrated, juicy flavors and sweet, velvety tannins. An edge of acidity keeps it fresh through the long finish. One year of aging takes place in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels of first and second-use.
