Roux Pere & Fils Saint-Aubin Les Cortons 2014

The Les Cortons vineyard derives its name from the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of the nearby Corton-Charlemagne appellation. An elegant and rich wine boasting floral aromas complemented by subtle notes of toasted nuts, sweet honey, and baking spices that develop with age. This Premier Cru is produced from Estate-grown fruit fermented on the lees in French oak barrels and aged for more than a year.

Tasting Notes: Deriving it’s name from the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of the nearby Corton Charlemagne appellation. Elegant and rich on the palate, this wine boasts aromas
of fl owers and green almonds, with more complex fragrances -- such as beeswax,
honey, and cinnamon -- developing with age. Roux “Les Cortons” is enjoyable with
crustaceans and fi rm-textured fish.
