• 100% Rossese from vines planted in 1888 from Poggio Pini of Soldano • Vineyard faces south-east and is comprised of shale, clay, and limestone • Vines face south-east on slopes with a grade of up to 70% that allow for a direct influence from the sea winds • Vineyards are bish-trained, known as alberello in Italy • 50-60% whole cluster maceration and fermentation for 12 – 15 days • Aging exclusively in stainless steel for 1 year before resting in bottle prior to release
