Rodney Strong Merlot 2017

Supple and well oaked aroma, with a toasty, buttery edge to the plum and cherry laced fruit flavors. Body is Firm and chunky, but well made, with a complex finish.

Lush with predominate notes of blackberries, black cherry and plum with a hint of dried herbs. This wine is silky and voluptuous with soft tannins and finishes with a touch of dried cocoa and vanilla. The luscious dark fruit flavors are enhanced by aging in small French and American oak barrels. Enjoy over the next two to four years with grilled vegetables, spaghetti and meatballs or grilled Italian-style sausages.

Plum and blueberry flavors with a touch of  dried herb predominate in this soft, rich, mouth filling merlot, and are enhanced by aging in small oak barrels for a toasty, spicy vanilla character, and a lingering berry-cream finish.
