Riff is a necogiant project, owned by Alois Lageder, that is independent of his estate wines, but reflects his expertise. A fifth generation winery owner and winemaker in the Alto Adige, Lageder’s long standing credibility with winegrowers gives him access to some of the region’s best vineyards. These top value wines are selected from vineyard sources in Italy’s northeastern Tre Venezie (Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and the Veneto) — acknowledged as one of Italy’s prime regions for quality white wines and expressive reds.
