This medium straw-colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a green apple tart and ginger bouquet with hints of lemon verbena and bee’s wax. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a green apple and lemon-lime blend with notes of saline.
It shows some hints of ginger and nectarine pit in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Panel would pair this Riesling with swordfish skewers, a mahi-mahi sandwich or with asalty soft Bavarian pretzel.
