DESCRIPTION

Bright mixed berries and vanilla with expressive toasty oak. Soft and round with fruit-driven flavors of blackberry, Bing cherry, sweet oak, vanilla and caramel. Deep ruby color with a lush mouthfeel and a long finish. Food Pairing: Barbecue chicken and ribs, spicy Asian cuisine and Mediterranean lamb.

Rhiannon 2018 is the eight vintage of this luscious, red fruit-driven red which Robert Parker has called ‘a mind-boggling value’. Aged in French and American oak, it has red and black currant fruit, sweet dark cherries, licorice and soil nuances. It's a fullly loaded, jammy, California fruit-bomb. Serve with white and red meats, stews, chili and soups, or with hard aged sheep's milk cheeses and aged Gouda-style cow's milk cheeses topped with Fig Jam and/or black olive tapenades.
