BRANDFinca la Celia
Restrained aromas of coal and black fruits unfurl on the palate to reveal black cherry and blackcurrant. Supple initially, it is robust with good depth and a tight, bitter fruit finish.
Malbec from two estates in the Uco Valley: El Manzano in San Carlos planted at 1,250 metres and Finca Mantrax estate, to the west, at 1,350 metres. Grapes were picked in the early hours and fermented in traditional concrete tanks at 22°C-24°C for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation were carried out in used French oak barrels.
