DESCRIPTION
The Renardats are seventh generation growers at Merignat in the Bugey, farming thirteen hectares of Gamay and Poulsard biodynamically on rocky clay-limestone. They are best known for sparkling Cerdon; this is the small amount of still red they make. All Gamay, hand harvested, destemmed, fermented spontaneously without sulphur in a mix of tank and wood. A blend of two years, so no vintage on the label.
