This wine is named after the silt soil that is unique to this area. Complex aromas of ripe apples, apricots, plums, spices, herbs, etc. Nuances of stone fruits such as peaches and apricots, light Darjeeling tea, and juicy body. Minerals, moderate acidity, soft tannins, and a deep feel.
Pairs well with most fine food presentations like duck in a fruit sauce, leg of lamb persillade, osso buco, and even a simple filet mignon.
