This is a surprising and striking bottling of Müller-Thurgau, an often somewhat unremarkable grape. It's crisply concentrated with fresh white-grapefruit, lemon and peach flavors juxtaposed by zesty lime acidity and a firm backbone of chalk and slate. Dry and thrillingly light in body, it's a wine to enjoy now through 2022.
Hints of nut and earth are savory on the nose but this light-footed, breezy wine offers dainty lemon and lime flavors. Brisk in concentration, it finishes with a flirtatious spray of blossom.
