Abadia (the Catalan word for “abbey”) is the wine that is most representative of the history of Raimat to date. Inspired on the dedication and commitment that monks put into their work, this wine reflects the vocation, the patience and the know-how of the Winery. The first Abadia was produced in 1978 and since them it has continued to be the emblem of the winery.
Appearance: Intense, cherry red with violet tones.
Nose: Ripe black fruit and plum compote with tobacco and spice notes, and a touch of dark chocolate.
Palate: Structured, fine and elegant. Long aftertaste with a pleasant spicy finish.
Perfect for meats and dishes with cured cheeses, vegetables, legumes or pasta.
