It has a wonderful picota cherry colour, and intense toasted aromas blend perfectly with hints of mint and ripe black fruit. It is a bolder wine in the mouth than on the nose, with a tense acidity and tannins coming forward.
It has strong typicity, which is unusual in a wine from this price range. The terroir of Castile and León can be tasted as well as the elegance of excellent Tempranillo wines. A combination of the eminence of a Ribera del Duero, and the depth of a Toro red wine, form an expressive, yet young, red wine brimming with a clear personality.
