Varietal Composition: Touriga Nacional,Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Barroca predominate among the traditional grape varieties of the Demarcated Region of the Douro Valley.Vineyard Location: 100% from grapes of Quinta do Noval, PinhALo.Vinification: the grapes were trodden by foot and fermented in the traditional lagares of the Quinta, where a disciplined and intense treading is fundamental for a good final result.
THE AGED TAWNIES reflect the art of oak ageing ; tawny port develops a rich creamy texture from the wood becoming more intense, golden amber in colour. Over times it takes on complex characteristics of walnuts, dried fruits and spices with a long peppery finish. Tasting NotesLight amber colour. Rich complex nutty bouquet reminiscent of mint and almonds.
