Ruby red with carnet tones. Floral and complex at the same, with wild berry notes combined with chocolate and spices, herbs and leather. Harmonious, warm and velvety, with a typical freshness, almost a balsamic note.

Barbaresco is traditionally the companion of second courses but thanks to its delicate aromas it also finds a right link with risotto and savory first courses and with all cheeses. Someone even sketches a pairing with chocolate-based desserts.
