Primarius Pinot Noir 2017

This Pinot Noir, a blend of all of our vineyard sources throughout Oregon, is a bright and lively expression of the 2017 vintage. Bright red fruits, citrus blossom and honeycomb aromatics are underscored by hints of candied violets and jasmine. The palate is lively, with flavors of rhubarb, wild strawberry and pie cherries and rounds out to a lingering finish accented with notes of cocoa powder and silky tannins.

Aromatics marry raspberry, red cherry and spice from the French oak. The flavors carry through on the palate with notes of berries, cherries and a lovely persistence of fruit. Aged primarily with neutral French Oak to impart a subtle toasty oak note that complements the classic cherry note of this Pinot Noir.
