Quite brambly summer-berry and dark-plum aromas with a thread of violets and cassis. The palate has a smooth, pastry-like tannin texture and is gently grainy and layered. Very fresh and elegant finish.
Deep ruby color.Medium + aromas of blackberry,ripe plums,cassis,green bell pepper,chocolate,little smoke,graphite,vanilla,tobacco,damp earth.On the palate it's balanced,full body,high acidity,high integrated tannins,14%abv,medium+ finish.Needs a couple of hours of air,drinks well now,has aging potential.
