The Michael Pozzan Oakville Zinfandel glows a deep ruby red in the glass. The nose is powerful, with explosive aromas of bright ripe raspberry, yellow peach, candied cherries, and a touch of sweet summer hay.
The mouth is dramatically expressive, with volatile flavors of peach, boysenberry, cantaloupe, and milk chocolate, all balanced by a frame of sweet French oak - vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. The wine’s lengthy finish is pure Tahitian vanilla bean.
