The 2018 AV Cabernet shows the wild, brambly berry fruit profile that is characteristic Alexander Valley right from the start. Aromas of ripe wild blackberries and cranberries are balanced by a touch of graphite-like minerality. In the mouth, the wine shows dark and intriguing flavors of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and exotic Chinese five spice powder.
